FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions trainers ask most often about Yakkamon and Season 0 pre-registration.
What is Yakkamon?
Yakkamon is a creature collector that meets idle farming automation. You hunt and catch wild monsters out in the world, then put them to work farming, gathering and producing around the clock, so your farm keeps running while you are away. You can craft gear and take other trainers on in the arena. More about the game.
Is Yakkamon free to pre-register?
Yes. Season 0 pre-registration is free and only needs an email address. You do not need a wallet, and you do not need to be an existing Sunflower Land player.
When does Yakkamon come out?
Early access opens in Q4 2026 and rolls out in waves. Your Season 0 leaderboard rank decides which wave you enter, and only the top 100,000 trainers are eligible for early access. How early access is decided.
Does signing up early get me early access?
No. Sign-up order decides one thing only: which Monster Egg tier you receive. Early access, your trainer number and the NFT airdrop are all decided by points. A trainer who signs up late and earns points daily will finish above one who signed up first and never came back.
Do I need a wallet to take part?
Not to pre-register, and not for your Monster Egg - that is an in-game item that appears on your farm the first time you log in. You do need a wallet for the two on-chain rewards: the Monster NFT airdrop and the Ronin free mint.
What do I get for pre-registering?
Three separate rewards. Every trainer who signs up gets a Monster Egg, which is an in-game item rather than an NFT. The top 5,000 trainers on the points leaderboard receive a Monster NFT in the Trainer Point airdrop, and the top 1,000 receive Legendary Monster NFTs. Pre-registered trainers also get access to a free mint of 10,000 Monster NFTs on Ronin.
What network is Yakkamon on, and is there a new token?
Yakkamon is on Ronin, the same network the Monster NFT free mint runs on. There is no new token. Yakkamon uses $FLOWER, the same token used across Thought Farm's games. More on $FLOWER.
Who makes Yakkamon?
Yakkamon is made by Thought Farm, the team behind Sunflower Land: over 1 million players, more than 100 open source contributors, and over five years of building live and in the open. More about the team.
Is my Monster Egg an NFT?
No. Your Monster Egg is an in-game item. There is nothing to mint, nothing to claim and no wallet needed - it simply appears on your farm the first time you log into Yakkamon.
How do referrals work?
Your first five referrals pay out as soon as your friend signs up. From the sixth onward, your friend must link Discord, link X and reach 100 points before the points land. Unverified sign-ups, multi-accounting and bot accounts do not count and are removed at the final review.
What is the official Yakkamon website?
yakkamon.com is the only official Yakkamon website. The official X account is @yakkamon_game and the official documentation is at docs.yakkamon.com. Our old X account was compromised and is not under our control - please do not trust posts, links or messages from it; @yakkamon_game is the only account to trust. Yakkamon will never ask you for a seed phrase or a private key, and pre-registration only ever asks for an email address.
